中石化第五建設有限公司是中石化煉化工程（集團）股份有限公司全資子公司，是我國最早從事石油化工建設的大型施工企業，也是中國石油化工集團有限公司直屬大型綜合性工程建設企業。公司擁有石油化工工程施工總承包壹級企業資質、鋼結構工程專業承包壹級、國外工程承包資質、對外經濟合作經營資格資質和建筑行業（建筑工程）乙級、石油化工醫藥行業（化工工程、石油及化工產品儲運）設計專業乙級資質、環保工程專業承包壹級資質等。

公司現有員工近3000人，長期聯營的合作隊伍20000余人，長期使用外籍員工近1000人。公司現有員工中，各類管理和專業技術人員近2000人，其中，高層次項目管理人才400余人，取得國際認證的項目經理（PMP）114人，取得一級建造師等高級執業資格近200人，具有中高級職稱的專業技術人員近800人，獲得省部級以上專家型人才21人。

公司現具備60億元/年以上的施工生產能力。能獨立承擔煉油、化工、化肥、化纖、橡膠、電力、電氣、儀表等大中小型裝置及配套工程建設任務。在大型吊裝、大型傳動設備（機組）安裝、大型儲罐安裝運輸、大型DCS自動化集散控制系統安裝與調試和特種材料焊接，以及大型鍋爐、大型空分、煉油、聚烯烴、甲醇、煤化工、土壤修復、安全技術、機械清罐、智能化拆除等方面，形成了獨具特色的技術優勢。近年來，公司在做好傳統業務的同時，在安全技術研發、土壤修復、油罐機械清洗、無軌導全位置爬行焊接機器人、智能化拆除等方面創新求變發展轉型業務，培養了一大批高級工程技術人員和各專業高級技師。在國家許多重大項目建設中，充分體現了在工程管理、機具裝備、專業人才、新技術開發應用等方面的實力和優勢。

SFCC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd (SEG), is one of the earliest large petrochemical construction enterprises in China, and it is also a large integrated construction enterprise directly subordinated to SINOPEC, retaining a variety of qualifications including the National Petrochemical Construction General Contracting Qualification (Class 1), Steel Structure Professional Contracting Qualification (Class 1), International Engineering Contracting Qualification, Foreign Economic Cooperative Business Operation Qualification & Building Engineering Industry (Class 2), Petrochemical & Pharmaceutical Industry(Chemical Engineering, Oil & Chemical Products Storage & Transport) Professional Design Qualification (Class 2), Environmental Engineering Professional Contracting Qualification (Class 1) etc.

SFCC has nearly 3,000 employees; in addition, it has lots of qualified affiliation with about 20,000 employees and about 1,000 foreign employees that cooperate with our company. The employees of SFCC include 2,000 managerial and technical personnel in various disciplines, about 400 high-level project managers, 114 project managers (PMP) with international certification, about 200 personnel obtained the first-class construction engineer or other senior professional qualification, about 800 professional and technical personnel with middle or senior titles, 21 experts talents obtained the provincial or state department level.

SFCC has the construction ability to 6 billion RMB per year, and capable of independently undertaking constructions projects in sectors of oil refinery, chemical engineering, fertilizers, chemical fibers, rubber production, electric & instrumentation, and their related supporting systems. SFCC has also acquired its own advantageous techniques over the years in the large scale projects in heavy lifting, mechanical installation, DCS automatic control system installation and calibration, special material welding works, boiler, air separation unit, refinery, PE & MA production unit, coal chemical, soil remediation, safety technology R&D, tank mechanical cleaning etc. In recent years, SFCC thrives not only by achieving good results in its traditional lines of business, but also by making progress and breakthroughs in its innovation and transformative business attempts in areas such as safety technology, soil remediation, oil tank mechanical cleaning, non-trajectory crawling welding robotics, having along the way nurtured a pool of senior engineers, specialists and experts, manifesting its powerhouse status and competitive edges in project management, tools & equipment management, skilled manpower provision, and the development and application of new technology.
